Dear Edward, I've gone back and forth the last few days trying to decide whether or not I should even write this. In the end, I realized I would regret it if I didn't, so here it goes. I know the last time we saw each other, we weren't exactly hitting the sweetest notes-certain wasn't the way I wanted the trip to end. I suppose I'm responsible and for that, I'm sorry. But in all honestly, if I had the chance, I'd do it again. Virginia said I left a stranger and came back a husband; I owe that to you. There's no way I can repay you for all you've done for me, so rather than try, I'm just going to ask you to do something else for me-find the joy in your life. You once said you're not everyone. Well, that's true-you're certainly not everyone, but everyone is everyone. My pastor always says our lives are streams flowing into the same river towards whatever heaven lies in the mist beyond the falls. Find the joy in your life, Edward. My dear friend, close your eyes and let the waters take you home.

Maybe I worried too much about the future that obstruct me from being happy.
I like a girl who as I can feel like me as well. Ostensible, I try to maintain the
status quo and bear good relationship with her. Inside my mind, I struggle coz I can feel that we couldn't reconcile on certain issues which most often than not turns out to be quarrel. Callous attitude wasn't my nature. Trying to find the way out and

人不斷的在批判世俗,越自由結果變得越放縱,有時為了自尊的維護,不惜大動干戈.

對整個地球來說,人類的存在已經是種威脅!

有人嫌自己不夠美,不夠好,為了讓自己更有自信花了大筆錢去整型,
其實真正的自信不是來自於外在,而是你內心的東西,
花再多的錢買來的美貌與自信,說穿了也是一種殘缺.

常常在想,人沒有這一身軀殼,你還能夠分辨誰是你的Mr. or Ms. Right?
外在的限制,束縛了人類一切,也決定了人類的命運.

重生這本書,讓我很深刻的體會到正視自己缺點的重要性,
去克服並勇於面對殘缺的自己,以謙卑的心接納不同看法並加以Improve Yourself.

殘障之於我們，並非毫不相干之物，它其實是人生的一部份、一個必經的過程。真正跨越障礙的「重生」，不是去逃避、美化或否認殘障，而是去正視並誠實的接納自我的殘缺

人這輩子可以有好幾次重生,出生時,適應並克服行動困難,是種重生;
面對自己殘缺,依靠自己所能給予的,再度重生.

是一個痛苦的「過程」，是漫漫長夜，而非一蹴可幾的單純事件、舉目可見的黎明曙光；這救贖的旅程所仰賴的，是周圍之人無私之愛的奉獻。

Saturday night, 6:00pm, chatting with Fred and Ivy about love, future, and departure, I was curious is it just a dream? Admittedly, I losed many things, and bursted out crying in the midnight, there are something valuable I got in Edinburgh. The entire year studying in UK is just like a glimpse of the paradise. Fortunately, I met lots of friends and experienced the most wonderful year here. My Supervisor Markus, Sandra, and Steven, and my beloved classmates, without you, it could be hardly for me to see things in different perspectives and broaden my horizen. You are not only my teachers but also my best friends!

As time passed by, I felt I was quite accustomed to the environment and the people here without any problem. However, when I just started to fall head over heels about the city, there were somethng that forced me to go back home.Fred, don't worry about the accounting exam. You will get through it! Ivy, you are just 24 years old, and you deserve a better man. The time hasn't come yet. I might not be attending the graduation ceremony. This could be the last time that three of us sat together and had a great chat. Who knows?

Come what may, please remember the moment that takes our breath away. Every time when you guys recall the day we got together, you know I'm also thinking about you anytime anywhere!

At 10:00 PM

Walking on the George Street, I felt tranquile outside the world and peaceful inside my mind. Few people hanging around on the street. Taking a close look, suddenly, I realised they are party-goers. Spouse, lovers, and friends, you name it. Lying on the steel fence in front of different stores, I took photos of men, women, and scenery. Seagulls seems to be sleepless just like me flying on the cloudy and dark sky without limitation.

咀嚼別人的文字道盡人生的無常

看到了 stanley的文章提到色戒裡王佳芝對鄺裕民說出的

"三年前,你可以的"

對我來說又是另一種心情另一種看法

也許聽到別人對自己說這句話時他是帶有遺憾跟恥笑感

是不是當時的抉擇錯了?

有股半生緣的 "我們再也回不去了"之感

是不是當年我沒堅持醫學系的宏願是錯的?

辜負了很多老師的期望到現在仍有種遺憾

但是以前沒有達到的目的不管年紀多大

只要有口氣在還是有達成機會的

也許只要拋下一切束縛人永遠都有second chance

人生是個不斷在選擇的十字路口

如果這次選錯了別擔心

The campaign aims to find National Treasures in the fields of Public life, Arts, Innovation & Enterprise and Science. Paul Smith has been nominated as a National Treasure in the Innovation and Enterprise category.

The winners from each of these categories will be decided by a summer-long public vote and will be announced at a ceremony at the British Library on Thursday 18 September.

Nobody can completely persuade others to accept his or her idea and therefore, from time to time, you got to get used to the critics from your enemy. Like Carla Bruni-the first lady in France, releasing her third album after marriage, she needs to face the music that her songs migth be tainted by the politial influence, provoke the ire of many of Sarkozy's opponents.

However, her husband's unwavering support, and trusting in her, though only single person, gave her strength to continue. "May be the best album ever made by the wife of a head of state." It is true and I think I will take time to listen to it! Maybe you shouldn't bear in mind about others' opinions, and look for places where you're
destined to reach. Never regret and be upset about the public comments coz you're still you.

Everytime, I try to hypnotise myself and convince myself that I am who I am. Everyone coming to this world serve some purposes and has the mission to accomplish. And that's the way I live. I shouldn't abandon myself. If oneday, I've found something or someone that worth fighting for and worth dying for, I would do my best to protect it!

In this file "The Legend of 1900", Tim Roth played the role as an unknown pianoist on the vessel "Virginia". 1900 was born on this ship abandoned by his parents and
raised up by the ship crew. Through out his life, the ship was the only home he has known, and the world is too big for him to play with. Just like what he said, thousands of streets in front of me, and I don't know where I should go and live. His life and love story leaves sorrowfulness in my minds.

In the end of the story, Max (trumpet player, also 1900 good friend) was trying to lure 1900 out of the now-deserted hulk of the ship. Having served as a hospital ship and transport in World War II, she is scheduled to be scuttled and sunk far offshore.

Max attempted to get aboard the ship with the recording 1900 made long ago, and attempts to convince him to leave the ship, but he is too daunted by the size of the world. Feeling his fate is tied to the ship, he simply cannot bring himself to leave the only home he has known. In the end, it is assumed he has died with the Virginian as she blows up and sinks.

I'm here looking around the world, and it seems to be so tranquil and wonderful.
I can't express the feeling of embraced by the tender wind and sunshine.
Counting down the days back home, I cherish the moment more than before.
Such a lucky person I am.
At this moment, I realise that I'm aging year by year.
New appearance comes out everyday.

"True power is when your enemies beg down before you."
Is it "Survival of the Fittest" true? or
If I can live easier, and never regret everything I've done and never give in.
Can I say I live in the best way I can?

Sightseeing is kind of returing back to nature. Human beings are supposed to
go back home for a while without anxiety, and burden.

I love here, I love Edinburgh. Got to hit the books and write my dissertation.
Wish my grandpa healthier and recover from cancer sooner.

好久沒寫日記以前都是用歌以及照片來代表現在的心情
現在是5月22日早上 00:12
最近天氣蠻穩定除了scottish冷風外天氣應該是比台灣好很多
晚上十點才天黑早上四點天亮

目前計畫是趕快把論文寫完
然後結束這趟留學之旅...

看了很多人感受很不一樣生活真的有不一樣生活體驗
這樣生活好像比較適合我個性不黏人不依靠別人
也不是那種瘋狂玩耍而是有自己目標去追求希望永遠能超越自己

話說最近幾部電影都是以英國蘇格蘭為主題
比如: 英國脫逃大師故事及蘇格蘭發生病毒事件被隔離

最近很喜歡一位日本鋼琴家兼女演員的音樂-松下奈緒 Nao Matsushita
最近主演電影'未来予想図' 前往西班牙巴塞隆納大教堂拍攝

　All by myself這首歌的作曲者，寫的是艾瑞克卡門與拉赫曼尼諾夫(Rachmaninov)，拉赫曼尼諾夫是一位近代的蘇聯作曲家，97年奧斯卡得獎電影"鋼琴師"，片中那位澳洲的鋼琴天才負笈英國時，就是因為苦練拉赫曼尼諾夫的第三號鋼琴協奏曲，在演奏會上陷入瘋狂狀態。All by myself則是艾瑞克卡門採用拉氏的第二號鋼琴協奏曲第二樂章中的主題，加以改編、填詞而成，如同"雨和淚"是採用帕海貝爾的"卡農"中的和弦而完成一樣，都是流行音樂與古典音樂結合的成功範例。
